“Beautiful house in a lovely village. Great area for walking the dog. Fabulous shower in the bungalow bathroom. The restaurant over the road is part of the hotel and we had a lovely meal there. Great breakfast the next morning good in the house. ”
Beautiful house in a lovely villageHelen - UK - Booking
We stayed in a caravan for just one night and were sorry we didn't stay longer. Our hosts were the nicest of people making us feel at home with their offering of a glass of the local apple juice and advice on things to see and do. Our two grandchildren were with us and they loved the adventure of staying in a caravan in the middle of nowhere. The caravan is well equipped and the beds were comfortable and clean. The shower was really good. The caravan is close to three others but feels isolated because of the surrounding trees and winding river. We went on a nice, peaceful walk along the river bank. Breakfast was taken with a couple off ducks which were quite brave in their approaches for food. The kids loved them. If you want a relaxing break away from hustle and bustle, you won't go far wrong here. Only thing I would say is to remember you are booking into a wooden caravan so don't expect fine China, silver cutlery and soft fluffy towels, you'll be disappointed. We weren't.

Loved this place! Stayed in one of the "wagons" nestled amongst the trees and it had everything one could want. Especially loved the quiet delivery of breakfast treats to the porch in the mornings! Including apples from the orchard you are staying in 😊 The family that run is are very sweet and professional. I loved the apple preserve they provided for breakfast and when I asked could I buy some, the lady gave me a jar for free. They also serve homemade stews that you can warm up in your kitchen, which smelled amazing! I bought some homemade pate. I really recommend staying here - beautiful setting for a well-run business.
